Vegan Brownie Batter Smoothie Recipe

I’m super active on Instagram, you can follow me here and be updated with more recipes!

Last week I made cookie dough nana ice cream. This week, I decided to experiment with another sweet treat: brownies! This is literally brownie batter, straight from the bowl… Chocolatey, creamy, and super rich. I could eat this everyday. It’s so good!

Something amazing happened…

I gave this to my little sister (who is the ultimate sweet tooth fanatic) and she asked for more! When I told her it was healthy, she didn’t believe me. So, this recipe is a winner!

HEALTHY BROWNIE BATTER SMOOTHIE RECIPE

1 cup almond/hazelnut milk (any milk would work)

1 overripe frozen banana

1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1/16th tsp salt

1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract

optional: 1-2 tbsp nut butter of choice

Topping:

1/2 cup coconut cream

1 tsp cocoa powder

1 tsp pure maple syrup

DIRECTIONS

Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

For the coconut cream, whip it until it reaches a thick consistency. I added cocoa powder mixed with 1 tsp hot water and maple syrup for the drizzle.

You can always add variations to this: like cake batter, or even red velvet! This calls for a new batter smoothie recipe soon… 😉
