Now, back to our healthy double chocolate fudge brownies.

Yes, I said healthy.

Take a look at them.

Ok one more time.

These brownies are so chocolatey, moist, rich and dense. When you take your first bite, it’s a chocolate overload. It’s moist on the inside, with a light crunch on the outside, it’s a chocolate lover’s haven.

Wait… It’s healthy?

Yes! It’s vegan, sugar-free (option), dairy-free and soy-free!

What am I waiting for? Here’s the recipe!

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup spelt or oat flour

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup coconut sugar or xylotil (can sub for maple or agave, but your brownies will be abit denser)

1/4 cup applesauce (I subbed for banana, it will leave a slight banana taste but the flavours combine very well!)

3 tbsp coconut oil (can sub for vegetable oil, not olive oil)

1/2 cup milk of choice

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

optional: dark chocolate chips

Combine all dry ingredients together. Mix all wet ingredients separately and combine the two. Place on a lightly oiled baking tray and bake for 15-18 mins at 325F.

Recipe adapted from:

Wait for them to cool..

Or just eat them straight away!

And remember to lick the spoon.

It’s the best part 😉

Till next time lovelies,

Tif x
